Transitional Recovery Program

The Transitional Recovery Program (TRP) offered by our team is a proactive solution to Workplace Risk Management and provides key guidance for navigating Return-to-Work successfully.

A TRP serves as a customized playbook for return-to-work within your company. Simplifying the process for employee and employer, ensuring that employees are valued, and employers are prepared for what comes next. A well maintained TRP will increase retention, reduce confusion, and reduce the risk of un-necessary duration and costs related to claims.

The TRP guides the employer through the process of identifying return-to-work options for an employee while recovering from an injury.

Key Features

This process is multi-faceted and includes the following key features:

  • Risk Evaluation & Ergonomic Assessments (to reduce risk/prevention)
  • Job Analysis (JA) Bank Development
  • Education/training on the importance of a JA the purposes of it in a work injury claim.
  • Analysis of Transitional recovery positions & development of supporting TRP playbook/guide
  • Training for staff on how to use the TRP: Management/HR & Employees
  • Implementation and guidance from our team during the first few months of this program.

Job Analysis & Development (JA Bank)

A Job Analysis (JA) is a detailed summary of job duties, expectations, physical requirements, and educational requirements of a position. This document is used to clarify the duties and expectations of a position to ensure all parties are clear and accepting of all requirements.

JAs are also used as a tool in hiring new employees and throughout the return-to-work process to determine an employee’s fitness to perform a position.

Ergonomic Consultation & Job Hazard Analysis

Ergonomic Evaluations and Job Hazard Analyses reduce the risk of injury or occupational disease. These services provide education to staff on healthy habits in the workplace, situational awareness, recommendations to reduce risk on the worksite, and physical wellness training related to positions and physical responsibilities.

Claim Guidance

Navigating an industrial injury claim can be difficult, confusing, and time consuming. Our team of VRC’s provide clear guidance and knowledge of the claims process, the ability to walk through the steps of return-to-work, review of available employer benefits, and assistance in provider communication to streamline this process for the employer.

The VRC can also be a resource to the worker, to help answer questions and to address concerns with the employer should they arise.

Workforce Wellness Initiatives

A Workforce Wellness Initiative brings value and appreciation to your team and creates a culture focused on safety, physical and mental wellness for all members of your team.
